Supported Browsers

The Myoats drawing app supports the following desktop browsers:

  • Chrome 56 or higher

  • Firefox 51 or higher

  • Safari 12 or higher

Configure your browser

Myoats uses a technology called WebGL. In order to use the Myoats drawing app, WebGL must be enabled on your browser.

To find out whether WebGL is enabled in your browser, go here to run a WebGL test. If you do not see a 3D cube, follow the steps below.

Chrome

Update to the latest version of Chrome.

If Chrome is up to date but you are still having trouble, make sure the "Use hardware acceleration when available" setting is enabled in Chrome by following these steps:

  1. In your address bar, go to chrome://settings, or click the three dots in the top-right corner of the Chrome browser and select Settings.

  2. In the left hand panel, click Advanced to open up the section.

  3. Click System and toggle Use hardware acceleration when available to the ON position (the button should be blue).

  4. Click Relaunch to restart Chrome.

Firefox

If you are having trouble running WebGL in Firefox, please take the following steps:

  1. Go to about:config in your address bar.

  2. Search for webgl.force-enabled and make sure this preference is set to true. If it is currently set to false, click the toggle icon on the far right to change the value to true.

  3. Search for webgl.disabled and make sure this preference is set to false. If it is currently set to true, click the toggle icon on the far right to change the value to false.

  4. Restart Firefox to apply your new settings.

If you are still having trouble running WebGL in Firefox on a Windows computer after taking these steps, your graphics driver may be to blame; WebGL is not compatible with certain graphics drivers. If you continue to have trouble, you can either update your driver (IntelAMD, or NVIDIA), or (recommended) simply switch to a compatible browser.

Safari

WebGL is generally enabled by default in Safari. However, if you are using a computer on which WebGL may present a security risk, you may have to enable WebGL manually by taking the following steps:

  1. From the menu bar, click Safari and then select Preferences.

  2. Select the Websites tab.

  3. Select WebGL from the list on the left side of the window. (Again, you will only see this option if WebGL has been disabled in your browser.)

  4. If you see human.biodigital.com listed on the right, select Allow from the drop-down menu.

  5. If you do not see human.biodigital.com listed on the right, look for When visiting other websites in the lower-right corner of the window, and select Ask or Allow from the drop-down menu.
